Conor feels he’s entitled to a percentage of the UFC. Dana says no.

Conor McGregor has had himself a week. Sexual assault accusations have been thrown his way, he (supposedly) retired via Twitter, and he ranted about how he’s entitled to a percentage of the UFC. Dana White can only truly comment on one of those things and he shot Conor down about him being owed anything.

He spoke to TMZ and revealed that Conor won’t be granted anything, but if he wanted to buy in, that’s an option.

“Listen, if you want to own a piece of the company, you’d have to put up the money to buy a piece of the company. I mean, that’s how it works. These are all parts of negotiation. If you wanted to buy into the UFC right now, the valuation is pretty huge.”

No one is bigger than the sport and any posturing Conor may be doing will not work. The UFC was fine before him and will be fine after. It just comes down to whether or not Conor is going to fight.
