Cowboy frustrated with Conor’s lack of movement getting their fight done

After Donald Cowboy Cerrone’s last fight, Conor McGregor was impressed. So impressed that he took to Twitter and said he’d fight Cowboy if he wanted it. Since that time, Dana White has been trying to make the fight but McGregor is making things difficult with his lack of movement in a forward direction.

ESPN’s Brett Okamoto spoke with Cowboy Cerrone who was visibly frustrated with The Notorious One.

“Conor won’t fight unless it’s a main event,” Cerrone said. “I don’t know if it’s an ego thing or a status thing for him. I don’t give a shit. I’ll fight anyone, anywhere, and I stand by that all the time. I guess he’s a prima donna and only takes main event spots. I don’t know.”

“I’m more annoyed that he went radio silent after putting it out. I get it, you want to stay relevant by putting it out there, but then you can’t go radio silent. Sack up, bitch. Sign the f*****g paper.”

I get how Conor is a draw, but I also get why Dana White wants only championship fights as main events. Conor has way too much of an ego and I imagine he sees it as a drop in his stock if he’s anything but a main event.
