If you missed UFC on FOX last night, you missed a violent jaw shattering knockout. Ricardo Lamas was on the wrong end of a knockout that would have put an elephant on its ass.
Josh Emmett made a serious case for his next fight being a title contender fight. With a lightning fast left hook, the unranked Emmett propelled himself into the top five of the UFC featherweight division. Lamas was ranked #3 in the division, so common sense says that Emmett moves into that spot.
Unfortunately for Emmett, he missed weight. He took the fight on short notice and the cut was too much. Odds are that he would have won the $50,000 performance bonus if he had.
