Reflecting on his most recent loss, Chase Sherman ‘gets it’

Chase Sherman usually gets on Twitter and shows his crazy good GIF game. He took a moment out of marketing his brand to be serious for a sec. Reflecting on his knockout loss in Beijing to Shamil Abdurakhimov, Chase Sherman seems to grasp what is important. *Hint* It’s not winning or losing a fight.

Sherman posted to his Twitter:

“Sometimes you’re the hammer and sometimes you’re the nail. That’s okay. It’s the nature of the beast in this sport, especially being a heavyweight. I hate that I couldn’t show my skill-set more. I invested a lot of time, money, and sweat into this fight. But, at the end of the day I have so much to be grateful for. If losing a fight is the worst thing that happens to me, then I feel I’m living a pretty good life.

Props to my opponent! Hell of a fighter. Five-time Russian champ and has been fighting longer than I’ve been alive. Thank you to all my family, fans, and friends. I can’t wait to get back home to y’all and my amazing boys and beautiful woman. I love you all.”

Like we said, Chase Sherman gets it.
