Unless you are old school then you have no idea how the formation of American Kickboxing Academy came to be. There were many factors that went into its creation but Mike Swick tells Matt Serra exactly how the team came to be.

It’s incredible how Crazy Bob Cook and Javier Mendez turned a gym that had a few fighters int a house of champions. To this day, AKA remains one of the top camps in all of MMA.

Mike Swick brought that champion mindset with him to AKA Thailand when he created it. Javier Mendez is also a partner at AKA Thailand.
