Anchalee Tantipoonwinai, known affectionately by the team as Anchalee, is one of the most integral figures in the ongoing success of AKA Thailand. A Phuket local with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Management from Western University, Anchalee brings a high level of professionalism, experience, and leadership to every aspect of the gym’s operations.

Before joining AKA Thailand, Anchalee spent years honing her skills in high-level hospitality with the prestigious Banyan Tree Resort. She joined AKA Thailand in 2016 as the Administration Manager, and quickly became the cornerstone of one of the most efficient and respected operational teams in the industry.

Now serving as General Manager, Anchalee plays a direct role in overseeing and executing the day-to-day functions of the gym, from immigration support and logistics to staff training, guest experience, and business development. She has helped transform AKA Thailand into a globally recognized training resort, voted the #1 Muay Thai School in Thailand by the Thai government in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.

Anchalee herself has been awarded Muay Thai School Manager of the Year, an honor granted by Thailand’s government, recognizing her exceptional leadership, administrative excellence, and contribution to the sport and tourism industry.

Working directly alongside founder Mike Swick, the two have formed a powerful partnership that has helped elevate AKA Thailand into what it is today: a one-of-a-kind training destination for celebrities, professional athletes, entrepreneurs, and everyday people from around the world. Together, their combined vision, discipline, and attention to detail have made the gym one of the most celebrated in the world, not just in combat sports, but in fitness and hospitality as a whole.

Anchalee leads one of the most respected admin teams in the business, not just in the fight gym industry, but across the gym and wellness world. Her commitment to structure, guest satisfaction, and company culture has made her a true standout in her field.

When she’s not directing the inner workings of AKA Thailand, Anchalee enjoys spending time with her family and caring for stray animals, especially cats and dogs. Her ability to balance compassion with high-level management is just one of the many reasons she is so respected by her team and our global community of guests.
