A lot can change in 6 years, Just look at AKA Thailand. We had a ring, a roof, and some dirt out here. Today, AKA Thailand is a beautiful luxury resort-style training facility with all of the bells and whistles. In 2014, we were just getting started and building was going through its embryonic stages.

Mike Swick, founder/owner of AKA Thailand, was here making sure that the day to day work was being done. At the same time, he was still an active UFC fighter. It’s crazy seeing all of the emptiness and dirt surrounding the Muay Thai area, given it is now covered in workout mats with packed classes of guests getting their workout on.

Phase II has begun at AKA Thailand and we will probably look back at today and think that the gym looked like a barren wasteland.
