The rambling and incoherent answer that Oscar De La Hoya gave in response to Floyd Mayweather calling him a ‘hypocrite’ is… special.
Floyd put Oscar on blast this week for saying that he wanted to fight Conor McGregor. Months ago, Oscar said that Conor fighting Floyd was bad for boxing. Now, Oscar has come out and said he wants the McGregor fight. So, Floyd did what he does; He put out a video asking if Oscar is a hypocrite or back on cocaine.
When faced with the question of whether or not he was being a hypocrite, De La Hoya said,
“Yeah, yeah… but… of course. Of course I was. It’s it’s it’s not about… What I said is that, I’ll take him out in two rounds. That’s it. That’s it. I don’t like the fact about a fighter fighting an MMA boxer or whatever; Vice versa or whatever. I just said, if it took Mayweather ten rounds, it would take me two. Easy as that.”
